This beach is a unique beach because if you notice the mountains on the top its said to be shaped like a lizard and that's the legend that is said about the mountains above the Hanauma Bay. This beach is a good beach to go sight seeing because of the beautiful aquatic life under the sea. This is a beach to go diving.

This beach is a nature preserve and it has one of the most beautiful attractions in the state of Hawaii. I love to go to this beach and go diving with the fish's there are a lot of types of fish. There is also the Hawaii State fish that live in the bay. It's a must see attraction go check it out. 

Makua Beach

 This beach is called Makua Beach but everyone knows it as pray for sex. Its located in Wainae pass Makaha. The waves can get pretty big the current is really strong so you have to be safe. There's a little bit coral  by the shore of the beach so you have to be careful for the reef when your surfing. It's not really a inhabited beach because not that many people go there because it's so far. The “Pray for Sex” rock (out of sight and just to the left of the wave) got its name from a colony of Hippies who lived here during the late 60s and early 70s. The words “Pray for Sex”.

You can find this beach by taking a drive down to the west side. This beach is way past Wainae and Makaha you keep driving until your almost to the end of the west side. Then when your almost by Yolks your going to see a big rock that says's Pray For Sex.

 Large winter swells breaking on this sandbar have produced some of the biggest and best body surfing barrels I have ever seen. During winter season like now the waves are really huge. The waves can reach up to 20ft and the current can get pretty strong.

This beach is called Sandy's and its on the south side of the island. It's a very rowdy beach only big surfer people should surf there when the tide is high and the currents are strong. The currents can come pretty strong but if your a strong swimmer it should be easy to handle. This beach is beautiful tho don't get me wrong.

You can get to this beach by taking a drive down to the south side. You drive like your going to town side but don't take the Kalihi cut off just keep driving. Then your going to come up to another cut off take that cut off and keep driving and you should see a beach with a lot of rock's by the shore that's Sandy's Beach.

The waves get pretty major it can reach up to 20ft when the surf is really good. Also that the current can get pretty strong to the point where you can get sucked out to sea. Other then that it's a good beach i just advise you to be careful.

Makaha Beach

Makaha Beach is fun beach to go to but the waves can get pretty big. The beach is good for surfing and just going to cruise with the family. This is my mom's favorite beach to go and just relax and chill. This beach is on the west side down Wainae you will keep driving until you reach Makaha.

Direction

You can locate this beach by driving down to the west side. You have to drive pass Nanakuli and Ma'ili.

You keep going until you reach Waianae and then you keep driving till you reach Makaha. You will see the beach on your left hand side and there you are.

  Surf's up

Makaha beach is best to go to when there's high surf's. There are a lot of people who come here to surf and dive. The surf can get up to 12ft when the surf is really high. This is one of the most packed beaches on the west side you can find a lot of people here.

Nanakuli beach park is a good beach to go and chill with your family. Also its a good beach to go paddling at there are canoe paddling competitions that are held at this beach. It's a good beach to me personally because it's comforting and fun to go to. Also I Little bit down the beach there's a rock wall that you can jump off and make huge bombs. If you are on the west side you should come down and kick it with the family.

      Directions

You can locate this beach by taking a drive down to the west side. You take the cut off  from Kapolei going past the water park then follow that rode down. You should be passing Honokai Hale then you should pass Ko'olina Resorts. Then you keep going until you come to Nanakuli and then the beach should be on your left hand side when your by Nanakuli Ave.

 Surf Season

Nanakuli beach park is a good beach but its more fun when the surf's good and the waves are pumping. You can go to the beach during the winter seasons then you shall see some radical waves. When the surf's good the people love to come to this beach and have surfing competitions. A lot of people love to come and fish to when the surf season is good.
